Waldo Lake

Amazing spot got to use my first inflatable paddle board. Could see 20 feet down clearly to lake bed. Fairly quiet spread out campsites. People do bring non friendly dogs so leashed is best although in 4 days and over 25 30 dogs passing by only one non friendly but leashed. Little island is a fun challenge. Mosquitoes were relentless but that place is well worth the nuisance of bites.

I love it here! It's so tranquil and everything is absolutely is stunning. I can't wait to go back, hopefully I'll have a bigger kayak by then to make the hours on the lake more comfortable, cause it's really hard to leave. Best pack enough bug repellent to kill a cow, because even if you bathe in it, you will get bug bites.

The views are great as well as the trails. Host was fantastic and the vault toilets were very clean and smelt good. Please note the website is not lieing about mosquitoes but we were prepared. We will be back
