Awesome place to stop. Great view and a cool place to check out. Bathrooms, gift shop, water, soda and some snacks. Also in the visitors center they have WiFi you can connect to, to get you to your next Google maps spot.

When we visited in February we had the place to ourselves, the views were amazing. The reservoir was extremely low, crazy to see how far the water level will eventually rise back up. Had a great time, I would definitely recommend visiting.

Fun visitors center witha great view of the dam and clean restrooms. They even have showers for the Appalachian Trail hikers.
