National forest waterfall with 2 80 & 40-foot tiers & viewing platform accessed via a forest trail.
Definitely worth it! 🙌 A short and easy hike leads you to an amazing waterfall 🌊 surrounded by beautiful nature 🌲. The trail itself is very scenic and enjoyable, making the whole experience even better. If you’re lucky enough to find a good spot, you can even dip your feet in and feel the refreshing cold water 🧊—perfect after the hike! It’s a great quick stop that combines a peaceful walk with a stunning reward at the end ✨.
Love this place! It calming, serene and a bit challenging with the "stairs of satan", lol. That's my nickname for them. It's a moderate hike with lots of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. It's a magical place, we had butterflies follow along with us as we walked. Worth every step we took!
Toketee Falls is absolutely one of the most beautiful spots in Oregon. The hike itself is pretty easy overall, and the trails are kept up well, which makes it a really enjoyable walk. The only thing to keep in mind is the staircase near the end. If you have knee issues or trouble with steep steps, that part can be a little tough. Otherwise, it is a very doable hike for most people. The falls are stunning, and the color of the water is almost unreal. That bright blue against the green forest is just breathtaking and feels like something you would expect to see far from Oregon, but there it is, tucked right into this gorgeous area. We explored a little more off to the right this time, and that was really cool too. The only downside was the bathrooms, which were pretty awful. But aside from that, the whole area is beautiful, peaceful, and absolutely worth the stop. I recently moved closer to the McKenzie River Highway and have been loving exploring more of these places. Toketee Falls is definitely one I will keep coming back to.
