Classic 19th-century waterside hotel with a pool & adjacent spa, plus a restaurant with live music.
We had my parents 50th Anniversary at the Cove. The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing. We had fantastic service and they went out of their way to make sure the evening was special for my parents and their guests. Five stars all the way!
After summer 2 dinners and 2 nights can definitely say this place is a gem on the Rideau. Always fantastic service, welcomed as if you are family and the meals are delicious. Beautiful patio and garden with live music. 2 things to keep in mind: I wish those who weren’t going to be respectful to the musicians would be seated elsewhere. Trying to enjoy a beautiful sunset, music and meal while some are just oblivious was a bit distracting. 2nd, the building is heritage therefore lots of little stairs and turns so could be problematic for some. Also creaking floors and thin walls are charming but perhaps might be a turnoff.
Nothing but good things to say about this hotel and restaurant. The service was impeccable, the charm of our room was unmatched. Fresh and updated without loosing the history of the building. Close to the Spy Rock lookout and park.
