Smuggler Union is a great pub to go have drinks and apps. During ski season, it is definitely more crowded in the evenings, so expect a wait if you are looking to get a table. We got lucky and snagged three seats at the bar... and so glad we did! The bartenders were both very friendly, made great recommendations and handled a very busy bar/restaurant with patience. As far as food goes- we got the tuna appetizer which was very good. Not something most would order from a pub but their sister restaurant is actually the sushi place up the street, so they source from the same place. We also got the potato tots that were very good as well. Basically just fried cheesy mashed potatoes. Finally, we shared the buffalo wings which were delicious!! Some of the best wings I have ever had! The flavor was great and the chicken as moist. We actually attempted to go back again the next night and ran into a bit an attitude at the hostess stand, so decided to go elsewhere. Overall, we had a great experience and I would certainly go back.

Overall great experience! We will be back! Ordered the steak frites... Cooked perfectly. I had the truffle fries and my wife had the sweet potato fries. Both were great. Service was amazing as well. Both services were super friendly and on top of things.

It’s hard to go out these days and not feel like you are paying way more than the food is worth. Not only where the prices here exorbitant but they tack on an extra 10% to your meal that’s supposed to provide health and housing for their employees on top of that (i’d love to see an audit of where this money actually goes ). On top of it You’re supposed to provide a tip so that 20% tip just turned into 30%. Honestly, the food is average compared to the price.
