Nice place. A lot of baked goods, holiday decorations, fresh cider viewing room where you can watch it get made and bottled. Very nice fall and christmas vibe during these two seasons. Unfortunately apple pies were sold out before I got there but not surprised they're popular.
Always stop here when I'm back in town. Especially late summer and the fall. Got your choice of apples apple cider fried cakes pies hard cider maple syrup pittsford dairy products ...
A weekend afternoon at Schutt's Apple Mill is the perfect blend of rustic charm and delicious indulgence. From the moment you step onto the property, the scent of fresh apples and warm cider donuts fills the air, setting the stage for a cozy and memorable experience. The mill itself is packed with character—wooden shelves stocked with locally made jams, honey, and, of course, the freshest apples you can find. Whether you're there for a casual stroll through the store or an adventurous apple-picking excursion, Schutt's delivers on its promise of a quintessential autumn afternoon (though it's a delight year-round). The highlight? The famous cider donuts, served warm and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Paired with a cold or hot cup of fresh apple cider, it’s the kind of simple pleasure that makes you want to savor every bite. And if you're lucky enough to visit during peak apple season, the pick-your-own experience adds an extra layer of fun to the visit. Beyond the food, Schutt's has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, with a staff that’s knowledgeable and eager to share insights on different apple varieties. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, enjoy the moment, and soak in the best of upstate New York’s agricultural heritage. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or just looking for a peaceful afternoon to yourself, Schutt's Apple Mill is a local gem worth returning to time and again. 🍏🍩
