Seafood & burgers in a homey, waterside log-cabin setting with deck seating & views.
great atmosphere, great service, and good food! we liked this place so much we ate here for dinner 2x on our 3 day cape breton trip! we had the same waitress both days and she was super friendly and kind. food was also of good quality and pretty great! lobster roll was good (though not super innovative and it could have been better!), you can tell it was made of fresh lobster, seafood wrap was very well stuffed but a BIT too salty (personal preference), fish tacos were really good and fresh though and my family really liked them (ordered them both times we ate). we also loved the choice between nachos + dip, mashed potato’s or fries! also ordered a salad both times and could tell it was made of fresh ingredients. would come again to try another wrap!
Super amazing seafood restaurant! The best burger (The Burger That Ate Cape Breton) we ever had, no doubt! The pure lobster roll is great also- you can taste the freshness of the lobster. Mussel bucket and seafood chowder are great too! We cannot appreciate more of the great services here! The waitress comes often to check on us at least 5 time to ensure we have a great experience! Top notch!
This place is well worth a stop! My partner and I came here to eat on our journey along the Cabot trail in September 2025 and have recommended it to anyone we talk to about our trip. The location and view is lovely, you get to look out at the ocean while you eat! They have a pretty standard selection of food and lots of seafood. We opted for the lobster roll and the burger that ate Cape Breton, and both were delicious. My partner ate 5 different lobster rolls while on our trip and said the one served here was far and away his favourite! The 'burger' was massive and was way more than I could eat alone, so prepare yourself for a huge sandwich if you get it. But ultimately, it was delicious! The staff was great and our overall experience is one we still think about and have vowed to make it back.
