1st time here.. very interesting place with the honor system which drinks. Not sure how they dont lose money. Maybe I shoukd give people more credit. You get whatever you want to drink and when you.pay before leaving you tell them what you had to drink. Never seen this before. The atmosphere was perfect on the water. Food was good. You are limited on options they make. However there is something for everyone even kids. Staff were friendly. I had a tuna steak and potato salad with cucumber salad. Wbife and daughter had the 1/2 lbs steamed shrimp🍤 with corn on cob and crab cake. Was all very good.

Stopped by here one of our days in town for a quick lunch and beer, but wish I had a chance to come for dinner as well! The atmosphere and ordering system is a throwback to fun, simpler times. Beers and other drinks are self-serve and you pay after eating in the gorgeous waterfront deck-area. We got a half pound of steamed shrimp (upon recommendation from our very nice cashier) and onion rings. The shrimp was obviously fresh and cooked to perfection, and the onion rings may well have been the best I've ever had (so crispy!). Eating on the water is very nice as well and the wait staff mostly let you just enjoy it, but they know to check in when needed as well. We even had a visit from an Egret, who was a blast to watch and didn't bother anybody!

An all-time favorite on the water, whether Southport or Holden, and tonight was no different. Made space for our large group and always great service. Steamed shrimp are a bit more work, but worth it! Even the side dishes like the cucumber salad are just right. Feels about as authentic a coastal seafood meal as can be had, and we’ll continue to visit & recommend to friends!
