Pink Lake near Ottawa turned out to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we visited, even though it was surprisingly difficult to find at first. The roads and trails were a bit confusing, and we spent quite some time trying to locate the exact spot, but once we finally arrived, it was completely worth the effort. The lake is surrounded by stunning nature, tall trees, and quiet walking paths that create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The water looked incredibly clear and beautiful, especially with the reflections of the forest around it. It was a perfect place to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and escape from the busy city for a while. The peaceful environment and fresh air made the experience even more enjoyable. Although finding the lake was a challenge, the breathtaking views and natural beauty made it one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
I’ve been to Pink Lake Trail many times, and it remains one of my favourite spots in Gatineau Park. The loop is beautifully maintained, with boardwalks, viewpoints, and clear water that looks different depending on the season and time of day. Some sections have stairs and uneven ground, but the views make every step worthwhile. It’s a peaceful place to walk, think, and enjoy nature, and I always look forward to returning.
Very beautiful scene under such a nice sunshine day! Easy to access and walk along, just try to avoid the peak time of the day as you can't find a parking spot when everyone wants to go there and get the color of the season 😭
