Cliff dwelling ruins of the Sinagua people dating back to the 12th century overlooking Beaver Creek.
A must-see! The history of this five-story cliff dwelling is incredible, and the trail provides great context on how the land and creek were used. It’s much more impressive in person than in pictures. Plus, it’s a great spot for pet owners since leashed dogs are allowed on this short walk. Highly recommend going if you have the time.
Such a cool, dog friendly, site to learn more about the history of this land! First thing we loved is that, they have the BARK Ranger program available, so our pup aren’t his first badge! Well stocked gift shop, nice paved trail with a clear view of the cliff dwelling. The Ranger was most helpful answering questions for us too. Just a nice little outing.
Awesome place to visit. The trail out and back is less than a mile and is paved and relatively flat. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. The visitors center is small but we'll stocked with souvenirs. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit.
