Rappelling & walking tours offered at a 165-foot-deep natural cavern with above-ground zip lines.
Absolutely amazing experience! This place is truly a hidden gem in California. From the moment you arrive, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The cave tour itself is breathtaking. Descending 230+ stairs into the cavern is an experience you won’t forget. The scale of the cave is unbelievable photos don’t do it justice. Learning that the cavern has been forming for millions of years and that the main chamber is large enough to fit the Statue of Liberty inside really puts things into perspective. The guide did a great job explaining the history, geology, including how the cavern got its name from the eerie sounds the wind once made. It’s educational, peaceful, and a bit thrilling all at the same time. Definitely wear good shoes and be prepared for the stairs, but it is 100% worth it. I highly recommend this to families, visitors, and anyone looking to experience something unique and unforgettable. We will absolutely be back!
Great experience. We had an interesting guide who told us a lot about this cave. Many fascinating historical facts. We really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. The height and depth were especially impressive. Be prepared for a physical challenge: you’ll need to go up and down about 500 steps in total. It’s also important to understand that this is a confined space. If you have a fear of enclosed or dark spaces, it’s better to skip this tour. At the beginning, the passage is very narrow. Further on, the spiral staircase becomes wider.
Wasn't exactly clear what we were getting into, but exceeded expectations. Christina was a great guide. They do a nice little test of scrambling threw some crevice before you start the journey. I already recommended to a few people.
