Lost Valley Trailhead

We loved this hike! I took five children ages 16 to 4 years with me. The hike is easy enough for a four year old to do but has so much the older kids enjoyed, too. The kids loved climbing the rocks and playing in the cave and by the waterfalls. It is just beautiful! It was not busy when we went on a Friday morning.

This is a great trail for all ages. The change in elevation is manageable, and the scenery is excellent. I visited here after a thunderstorm, and there were multiple waterfalls to enjoy. Hike the entire length of the trail to see everything is to offer; I missed out on the Middle & Upper Eden Falls. There are also caves, but I did not have any flashlights to explore.

Such an amazing trail! Breathtaking views, awe inspiring caves & water ways. A natural bridge, and interesting history. If you make it back to the cave after the waterfalls & are willing to cave crawl, if water permits, there is a phenomenal subterranean waterfall!
