Elevators & lifts provide a skier's-eye view of the Adirondacks from the top of the Olympic jump.
We visited in the fall so the views from the top were beautiful. There is no restaurant on-site which was a little disappointing but we went to a great little brewery down the street. Keep your ticket available the entire time as you have to show it several times. The video was very interesting.
This complex is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend trying to figure out when athletes are training, we were able to watch a ski jumper practice and it was awe-inspiring to say the least! At the top of the gondola ride, you can take the elevator to the top of the higher jump and walk out onto the platform - HIGHLY recommend that if you need a jolt of adrenaline! At the base of the hill, there’s seating outdoors so you can look up at the hills and enjoy the view - we visited in August and weren’t sure what we’d see with it being the off-season, but was so happy to see some athletes in action!
Enjoyed riding the gondala to the tower and taking the elevator to the top to see the beautiful fall foliage and ski slopes. The guide at the top of the tower shared valuable information about history of the olympics, including bob sledding and skiing and current events. It was very interesting and educational.
