Staff: amazing! Park: It's okay. It doesn't look like the pictures in the reviews tho. I drove all the way from Dallas. The Texas dry season has this place looking thirsty lol. Water holes, dry, if not sitting with stagnant water. Water dirty looking. Plants dead. Maybe bc it's a weird warm feb. idk. but the potential is definitely here. I don't like the tent camp areas. Not smooth, rocks, ant mounds and sticks everywhere, slopes and uneven spots. Don't seem maintained at all in my opinion and i camp ALOT. Bring a rack i goes. Plenty of primitive camping, rugged roads. I only stayed 1 night at spot 4, electric. Best spot i found that was flat honestly. if i weren't tired.. id just drive home. Vibe: Sunday was serene before school let's out. Glad I visited when I did. Felt exclusive by the time visitors left. Laid by the waterfall for hours. Office: water the grounds so things look as green as advertised. Everything looks dead, years ago. Update: i drove home. Didn't feel comfortable staying.

Visited Krause Springs today, and it was such a refreshing and peaceful experience. The drive to the location was scenic and relaxing, setting the tone for a perfect day outdoors. The entry fee was $10 for adults, which is totally worth it considering how much there is to explore. I spent time walking through the beautiful garden area, checked out the man-made pool, and climbed over the slippery rocks near the springs — everything was absolutely stunning. The place feels natural, soothing, and scenic, making it a great escape from the city. I noticed quite a few people camping as well since there’s a dedicated camping ground, which looked like an amazing option for anyone planning an overnight stay. The overall vibe of the place was calm and positive — perfect for solo trips, family outings, or group adventures. If you’re looking for a beautiful natural spot to unwind, swim, or just connect with nature, Krause Springs is definitely worth visiting. Was a 4-5 hour drive for my family to get here from the Dallas area, but it was absolutely worth it! We had an amazing end of summer day trip. The water was refreshing, the rope swing was thrilling, and all in all this location was stunning, between the waterfall, to the picnic areas and the butterfly garden. I've never seen so many beautiful butterflies.
