Jasper National Park Icefield Information Centre and Glacier Gallery

An absolutely incredible day. Staff were such wonderful individuals- informative, passionate, friendly and the perfect balance between cracking a joke, and sharing the importance of preserving and understanding this beautiful landscape. The organisation is flawless. Smooth, professional, no waiting around, more helpful than we’ve had anywhere else on our travels. The glacier is exquisite. More beautiful than words. And the sky walk is something to behold, and greatly informative. I would 10/10 recommend. A special thank you to Sam & Jason!

The natural beauty of the Athabasca Glacier is absolutely breathtaking, but this visit left us with a message that goes far deeper: simply loving nature isn't enough; we must actively care for and protect this magnificent gift from Mother Nature so that every future generation can see it, too. ​Our guide was the perfect embodiment of this message. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable. Their passion as a true environmental lover shone through in every word, turning a stunning sightseeing trip into a deeply meaningful experience. A well-deserved 5 stars for an unforgettable and eye-opening day!

The Icefield information center has tours, a gift shop, and restaurants. All the employees are helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and warm. The parking lot is big and easy to get in and out of to the main road. The restrooms are well-maintained and pretty good-sized. This is a good place to wait for your tour, relax, or enjoy your meal.
