They have done a great job with this waterfront. Lots to see and do, plenty of public space. It has a friendly, lively vibe to it. A nice mix of tourists and locals. For a bonus, take the ferry across to Dartmouth and back. $3 round trip. Fantastic harbour views!

Such a beautiful escape in the city. The Boardwalk has had upgrades like the kids’ trail .. great for grownups too. And the patios .. plenty of them provide rest and refreshments along the way. Even the little shops cater to everything from pewter (bought nice East Coast vibe ornaments), to your standard NS souvenirs. Take the time to get out of the sun, and enjoy. It’s both kid and adult friendly, never find it too crowded, so for a relaxing stroll, or a ‘people watching sit’ with a cooler water breeze, the Waterfront is your destination.

It is always magical to visit here, the sights and people make ot so lively. I love it, and the ice cream from cows are like cherry on top, this lights up in the night too. Specially on weekends its whole another feeling and everyone enjoys
