Groveland Hotel

Such a cute, historical hotel. We were in room 1 which was up at the top of the stairs near check in. They still use actual keys which added to the quaintness of the hotel. The rooms were nicely remodeled and refreshed. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was a “minibar” in the room which was also nice. I just wish their restaurant or at least the bar was open but not a huge deal- we walked down the street for some good Mexican food and to the old bar. I’d recommend this hotel to stay when visiting Yosemite.

This Propertyy agreed to take my advice and become a five star hotel at the top of the mountain and I’m sure they will strive to get this accomplished as they have every indication of having the best opportunities in the world!!! 🕊️💕🙌 I will digitally try to help them move forward from the winter seclusion into the summer spring, fresh air, and good vibes barbecue and tunes They addressed all my concerns that I originally posted since I am a chef and a professional bed-and-breakfast individual. I tend to Have a little bit more of a watchful eye after 55 years of being in the industry, but I love to lend a helping hand as you know this is so far up in the mountains and I do believe it is very hard to find reliable help! Thank you for addressing my concerns and I wish you the best in the future! It was convenient …..I did however enjoy walking around the town going to the Mexican restaurant sitting on the front porch. Everything else around that little downtown area was so fun and friendly. This restaurant was not currently working.

Excellent location with very clean rooms and great service. The staff was friendly and the property was well maintained. It’s also very close to Yosemite National Park, which made it a convenient base for exploring the area. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay
