Donner Summit Bridge

Great landscape and view of Donner Summit Bridge and Donner Lake. Seeing this area and terrain make me wonder how earlier settlers navigated across this pass of the sierras.

Amazing views. Potentially dangerous because of traffic and fall hazards: watch your kiddies. We were blessed with a beautiful rainbow. No guarantees that you’ll see one!

Great place with a view of Donner Summit and Donner Lake. Interesting short detour off of Rt 80 and beautiful landscape to see. Also terrific place to view the sheds built over the railroad tracks high in the Sierras.
