Desert View Watchtower

I thoroughly enjoyed climbing to the top of the tower as well as the viewpoint from the base. This spot is rich with cultural history. I thought the reflectoscopes were the coolest thing showing the true colors of the canyon! They have restrooms between the parking lot and the little deli/market which were handy!

This surpassed our expectations and it was well worth the drive over here! It's such a unique building and the interior is so fun to explore. The views are incredible as well! Upon arrival, get your free ticket to the upper floors as soon as you can since they only let a few people up at a time. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our slot but we just enjoyed the views outside in the meantime.

Iconic view tower located very near the entrance of the East Gateway of the Grand Canyon. Spectacular views, awesome information center and grounds. A must see if you visit wonder of the world.
