Closed Canyon Trail

This is a definite DO NOT MISS hike. A short walk and you are in an incredible slot canyon! There are a few scrambles, but easy to navigate with good shoes.

Walking through to thebend of the slot canyon provided a cool break from the scorching sun. As you go further into the canyon toward the river there are a few steeper spots. It is worthwhile to go to where a sign & chain marks the trail end. The rock walls are amazing and shelter many types of birds in a much cooler environment than the open desert.

It's a fun, family friendly, short hike down an interesting slot canyon. There are some uneven areas and slick rock sections to cross. Beautiful views and scenery
