Cabot's Pueblo Museum

The self-guided tour at Cabot’s Pueblo was hit and miss. The recordings themselves were wonderful — engaging and interesting — but the experience needs better organization. With two different guides and no clear flow, the tour felt scattered at times. You really have to pay attention and hunt for the “Easter eggs.” Once outside, the QR codes didn’t work consistently, which made it harder to follow along. And there’s a tremendous amount to see — the space deserves a more structured path to fully appreciate it. The Trading Post is exceptional. The pottery from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua ranges from accessible pieces to higher-end works, all of it beautiful and thoughtfully curated. If you’re looking for something meaningful and artistic, this is the place. Purchases there help support and maintain this remarkable Pueblo and the surrounding land.

This museum is really neat to go through. Worth it to get the self-guided tour. It's very educational and cool to have a part of the audio per room. The upstairs apartment was beautiful. Walking the grounds was very cool and not boring at all. Plenty to see. Staff was very kind and responsive. Parking was plenty and easy. We highly suggest being able to see and experience some great history of the area.

NEED A GUIDED TIMED TICKET / GET TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME Most of the grounds is accessible without a ticket. Need a ticket to visit the interior of the building.
