Fabulous, the best fried oysters I’ve ever had, these were perfect size, great coating and cooked to perfection. Service was great and friendly. Fried green tomatoes were a treat with pimento topping. Sides on the oyster platter were very tasty. We had the house porter and enjoyed it immensely. The views were relaxing. This place was well worth the trip to South Carolina and can’t wait to return. PS don’t forget to leave your mark

I have been going here for decades... I went tonight and have gotten more and more upset as the night has gone on. I am so used to loving it, It did not occur to me to NOT enjoy it as I have so many times before. The environment is fun, but my order....small order of oysters and a side of (6) hushpuppies. $26.00, $28.00 with tip, everyone was super nice. I am kinda surprised at the price. I would expect that for a platter, I have been known to drop $100.00 on a steak, so I WILL absolutely pay for good food. This was just okay. And very expensive, I have been burping oil for 2 hours. Definitely go, but be warned the prices don't reflect sometimes.

On a recommendation from my barber, I checked this place out. Definitely low key, with a rough unpaved road to get to it. Wanted some raw oysters, but they unfortunately we out this day. Got the crab dip for starters. Very good with real crab. I ordered the seafood platter with a side of fried oysters. The shrimp were done perfectly. They were a medium to large size and tasty. The flounder was excellent and moist. The crab cakes were flavorful with more crab than stuffing. I’m not a hush puppy guy, but these were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I really enjoyed their slaw. All in all I’ll be back, just have to call to verify the availability of raw oysters.
