Bennett Spring State Park

Great people working here from the store, the dining lodge, to the nature center! Such a peaceful place and well maintained. They have camper/tent slots as well as cabins and duplexes to stay in. The fishing is great(work still in progress on hatchery)and they have pole and ladder rentals available. You can buy fishing license and tags as well as additional equipment. The dining lodge was a great experience with decently priced food and portions. Everything from fried chicken to pizza ordered to go. If you bring in your catch of the day- they will cook it for you!

Bennett Springs is a must for any angler! Despite the hatchery being under construction, there is still plenty of trout to be caught for anglers of all levels! The park features three fishing zones 1.) Fly Fishing exclusive 2.) Artificial lures and 3.) Soft Scented and Natural bait. The campsites are not new, but are well maintained and the shower house/restrooms are always clean. One thing we love about coming here is we are always learning from our fellow anglers! Everyone is always happy to share what's working for them that day. The restaurant at the park is a great stop for a bite to eat and the campground store has many essentials and snacks to buy if you happened to forget something.

I can see where this would be a beautiful campground.Once it's all put back together...I was told I was going to have a level campsite, near a restroom. The campsite was definitely not level and the restroom No longer existed, they were doing renovations all over the park, and the bathroom had been taken down. I assume to rebuild. a warning Would have been nice that the park was undergoing lots of renovations... After talking to several people, I spoke with a very nice lady in the office and she moved me to a different campsite for a few more dollars, but I couldn't have stayed the other site
