Family-owned vineyard offering tastings & tours as well as estate-grown lavender products.
I absolutely love the way this vineyard looks. I arrived an hour early, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating to me and my sister-in-law. They were very descriptive about the wines they carry. We also ordered a charcuterie board, and they had a great variety of options. Definitely recommend ordering it when you're there. I'd recommend spending about 2 to 3 hours there, because it's just as beautiful outside as it is inside. We also met some locals who were so friendly and encouraged us to join their membership at the vineyard, since they host events at that location. By the way, they also offer welcome drinks when you first arrive, which I thought was such a nice touch. Their Sauvignon Blanc was my favorite.
The place is beautiful, and everyone who attended us was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the view is lovely. The cheese board is good, but I’d add a bit more charcuterie. What really surprised me was how expensive the wines are compared to what they actually deliver. We would’ve probably bought more bottles, but the prices felt excessive. Another thing worth mentioning: you’re constantly prompted to tip, even though you do most things yourself: you grab your own wine for each new tasting, pick up your own charcuterie board, etc. Overall, a pleasant experience, but definitely room for improvement in value and service dynamics.
Came down for a birthday trip and John Martin was absolutely incredible. He was super knowledgeable, personable and attentive to detail. I can tell he’s very passionate about Wine and loves his job. I can’t wait to come back and ask for him specifically to service us again! 10/10 would recommend.
