Beaumont Hotel & Spa

The Beaumont was absolutely stunning and such an amazing place to stay. The location was perfect, everything was walkable distance and super accessible, which made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. Parking was also incredibly easy on the side of the building and everything throughout the hotel was clearly labeled and simple to navigate. The bar and coffee shop inside the building had such a cool atmosphere. Every person we interacted with was genuinely friendly, helpful, and kind, which made the experience even better. Our room was stunning and had everything we could possibly need and more. You can really tell that so much thought and care went into every detail. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back again!

My husband and I stayed at the Beaumont Hotel from June 20–23 for our honeymoon and booked the Presidential Suite. The suite itself was beautiful, and after doing some research during our stay, we really enjoyed learning about the rich history of the hotel. In fact, I think sharing some of that history during check-in would add a lot to the guest experience and help create a stronger connection to such a unique property. Because we were celebrating our honeymoon, I expected a bit more attention to detail, especially considering the cost of the Presidential Suite. During a previous stay in Golden, another hotel left us a handwritten note and a bottle of champagne to congratulate us. We certainly didn’t expect anything extravagant, but a small gesture like a handwritten note would have gone a long way in making the stay feel more memorable and personalized. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and has tremendous potential, but it feels like there are some missed opportunities. Staffing appeared to be stretched thin at times, and there seem to be several ways the hotel could better encourage guests to spend more time on property. For example, the coffee bar was consistently busy in the mornings, yet the patio wasn’t always open, which seemed odd. The tavern could likely attract more guests with simple promotions such as discounted appetizers during certain hours. One example of the inconsistency was Monday evening when we planned to have a drink on the second floor after enjoying it the previous night, only to find it closed. Experiences like that make it difficult to know what amenities will be available from one day to the next. The Beaumont is a beautiful historic hotel with a lot to offer. We enjoyed our stay and loved the suite, but a greater focus on guest experience, consistency, and personalized touches would elevate the property and make it feel more in line with the premium experience its pricing suggests.

We just hosted our wedding reception at the Beaumont Hotel Courtyard and it was an absolute DREAM. Esther, our contact at the hotel, had everything set up when we arrived just like we had requested…even a difficult-to-assemble cake we had shipped to the hotel and loose flowers she had snipped and arranged into vases as well. Despite the fire smoke, the courtyard was magical with dripping ivy and hanging lights. Our guests said it felt like a classy Tuscan alley— warm, rustic and timeless. When it was a little warm during the first hour, we had the beautiful Roosevelt Tavern and bar to relax in and sip delicious drinks and appetizers. Everything went absolutely perfectly. We did our first couple and father-daughter dances on the little stage in the back and the pictures turned out incredible. Esther made sure everything went smoothly and even carried around my sister’s 8-month old baby for a while so she could join in on the festivities.
