Airport Mesa

Beautiful views and great hiking options! The trails are scenic and well worth the visit, offering some truly stunning landscapes. Parking can be a bit tricky, so patience is key—make sure not to park in invalid or restricted spots. Once you’re on the trail, the experience is absolutely worth it.

Gorgeous spot - easy drive or hike up. Slight edginess from fellow tourists in the early AM… to be expected 😉 sunset may be more affable hours. Sweeping view of the valley and pastel colors… beauty.

A great ~4mile hike to complete the loop. Amazing views of the nearby rock formations and valley. We went in April and saw many wildflowers in bloom and some birds. The trail is very flat, so easy walking though there are a few spots of narrow passage over rock to watch out for.
