Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake

The Adirondack Experience Museum is an absolute gem featuring everything that highlights the region. Interactive exhibits, history, art, views and welcoming staff. Each exhibit tells a different and unique story. I especially enjoyed the historic buildings and hiking trails. I left with a greater appreciation and connection for the beautiful Adirondacks. I highly recommend becoming a member.

I have been here a number of times and it's always a beautiful experience. The place is immaculate, then exhibits are very well done. Today I visited because they had vendors who build custom adirondack style furniture and home decorations. I was blown away by the pieces on display, talk about "museum grade" quality and craftsmanship. I will come back next year for this event alone.

This was BY FAR the most wonderful museum I have ever been to. It’s SO interactive and great for kids! There is SO much to do and so much to do! Plan on going at least two days to get a full experience. The staff were SO sweet, the establishment was clean, the atmosphere was incredible, and it made me fall in love with the Adirondack mountains. I will be going again the next time I visit NY!
